Undercover Indian

Undercover Indian FACEBOOK COVER PHOTO FINAL (8, October 2017)
SOULO Theatre presents a pop-up run of Undercover Indian – a brand-new theatrical experience in a yoga studio!

Only 4 shows from November 4th – 11th.

“What are you here for? Personality development?”

In ‘Undercover Indian,’ you are invited to join Ankita in a yoga class, where she reveals, asana by asana, how her experience in India made her see North American culture through a new lens. Hilariously thought-provoking yet playfully immersive, ‘Undercover Indian’ is a play about belonging, becoming and the beauty of identifying with two worlds.

After being invited to present at Soulpepper Theatre Company, as part of the Shen Development Series in August 2017, Undercover Indian, is excited to present a site-specific run!

“A must see for anyone who has roots in more than one place, or anyone curious about what that experience is like! A touching, funny and deeply personal work from an amazing young creator.”

Buy Tickets

In an effort to make ‘Undercover Indian’ accessible financially, we’re offering a Pay What You Can Afford ticketing scheme. Prices are set at $10, $25 and $50. If you can afford $50 we ask that you pay that. If you can afford $10 – that’s fine, too! The ensures that the show is accessible, while also challenging the ideology around how we place monetary value on an art experience.
(Thank you to the “Flashing Lights” team for ariticulating this so well!)
