Award winning playwright, actor, producer Linda Griffiths is one of Canada’s ‘originals’, known not only for the quality of her work but for the sheer range of her career.  Ms. Griffiths will give a talk about her experience of creating five original and autobiographical one-woman shows over her amazing career with time for the audience to ask questions after.

Michael Wolk is the CEO of Gorgeous Entertainment, a New York based film, theater and event production company, and Executive/Artistic Director of the All For One Theater Festival, which is dedicated to solo theater performance, development, education and advocacy.  

Sandra Shamas is a writer, performer, producer, farmer, and natural blonde.

Christel Bartelse  is an actor, writer, comedian, teacher and 4-time Canadian Comedy Award Nominee.

Deb Filler is an award-winning international solo performer and instructor at Brown University.

David Harrell is a New York City based solo performer and the opening night show for SOULO Theatre Festival 2014.

Debra is a graduate of Soulo Theatre where she performed her short one-woman show – How I Quit Smoking and Learned Kaddish.  

Tracey Erin Smith helps performers, both first-time and seasoned professionals, bring their life stories to the stage. She is the founder of Soulo Theatre and Soulo Theatre Festival and an award-winning solo performer in Canada and New York City.

A two hour solo-show creation workshop with international performer and teacher, Deb Filler.DEB FILLER is an internationally acclaimed solo performer, teacher and a Helen Hayes Award nominee.  She has been playwright-in-residence at several theatre companies including the Adirondak Theatre Festival, Buddies In Bad Times Theatre and is a member of the Usual Suspects Playwrights Lab at New York Theatre Workshop. Deb is currently developing a new two-character show called, ‘My German Roots Are Showing’ and is a guest teacher at Brown University.
